I have been teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the department of Ophthalmology at a medical college.
I have been associated with Eye Banking activities since more than 30 years.
My area of expertise is Eye Banking, Corneal Preservation & Transplantation.
Undergraduates and postgraduates in various universities including Gujarat University, Saurashtra university, M.S. University, South Gujarat University. RUHS, Maharashtra etc
I have participated in Eye Camps at Kenya-Tanzania in 1984, 1986, 1993 & 1994. Also Mega Eye camps at Bodhi Gaya, Bihar by Bhansali Trust
Awarded WHO fellowship for the year 1987 and visited various ophthalmology institutes in Moscow - USSR from 21-03-1988 to 16-04-1988.
Retina Foundation Medal and first prize at 12th Gujarat Ophthalmological Conference at Surendranagar in 1984.
